Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 (opens in new tab) AA standard.

Non-accessible content

The content listed as follows is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

  1. PDF's published after September 2018 may not be fully accessible in a number of ways including missing text alternatives and missing document structure. However, every effort has been made to provide these in HTML format and we provide messaging around these so users can request an accessible format.

How we tested this website

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 level A and level AA to test how accessible https://jobs.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/ is.

On the 15 June 2023, the Digital Accessibility Centre (DAC) conducted an audit of a representative sample of pages on gamblingcommission.gov.uk and its third-party websites, including jobs.gamblingcommission.gov.uk. Common accessibility issues across the website were identified which have since been addressed.

Throughout the development and maintenance of this website, manual testing by Webrecruit and Gambling Commission Digital team also takes place. We test this website using accessibility checking software and different devices including mobiles, tablets and desktop computers.

What we are doing to improve accessibility

Following the audit conducted by the Digital Accessibility Centre (DAC) in June 2023, we analysed and fixed content which failed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 AA standard.

Since then, and the introduction of WCAG version 2.2, we have tested the website against WCAG version 2.2 and have arranged a retest with DAC for late 2024.
