We are currently looking for a Regulatory Delivery Manager to join our team in Birmingham and play a key role in the data elements of our delivery work.

The Role

As a Regulatory Delivery Manager, you will be tasked with translating gambling regulation into action and ensuring that the industry understands and adheres to gambling legislation.

Working as part of the Compliance Team, you will specifically be responsible for using your data and reporting skills to inform a risk-based approach for licensees testing and the deployment of resources.

Your role will involve:

- Ensuring policy is implemented effectively
- Devising new ways to regulate a continually changing landscape
- Using your data analysis skills to produce reports to inform a risk-based approach to compliance
- Conducting assessments of larger and more complex online and land-based businesses
- Identifying risks to the licensing objectives and the reputation of the Commission
- Supporting and leading on raising standards initiatives
- Supporting regulatory investigations and checking improvement measures are put in place by Licensees
- Analysing and reviewing data on the largest and most complex operators and identifying key areas of risk
- Managing compliance engagement with a portfolio of licensees
- Acting as resource manager for a team of compliance colleagues

About You

To be considered as a Regulatory Delivery Manager, you will need:

- Extensive knowledge of database management and manipulation
- Excellent data mapping, data analysis and report writing skills
- Experience of working with databases to capture and inform analysis of risk
- Demonstrable knowledge or understanding of risk-based regulation
- To be adaptable and comfortable with change and the continual improvement that is required to be a successful risk-based regulator
- Excellent presentational and writing skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Interviewing and auditing skills and the ability to communicate with senior officers and legal advisors for large organisations
- The ability to critically assess the work of colleagues and ensure that colleagues are working to deadlines and producing a high-quality of work
- Attention to detail in all your work but also be able to complete work at pace, within tight deadlines
- The ability to respond quickly and be adaptable/flexible when dealing with reactive work at short notice
- The willingness to travel

The demonstrable ability to present and/or provide training to small and large audiences would be beneficial to your application.
