As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a crucial role in delivering our Talent Acquisition and Resourcing services. Your responsibilities will span from managing the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process to supporting the Senior Manager in strategic initiatives. You will be a key player in establishing our full service offering and ensuring these services are delivered efficiently and professionally across the organisation.

Your responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Resourcing

- Supporting the Talent Acquisition Lead in transformational projects to professionalise and modernise the service offering across the Commission.
- Evaluate and recommend the best external talent sources to meet our strategic goals, empowering hiring managers with recruitment plans and toolkits that reflect our values.
- Help to re-design our current recruitment process to place Vacancy Holders and Candidates at the centre.
- Advise on and implement creative attraction and selection plans, collaborating with the Communications team and hiring managers to effectively advertise roles.
- Develop and nurture relationships with third-party suppliers and coordinate with other Civil Service departments for smooth secondments.
- Conduct salary benchmarking to stay current with the external job market, aiding in informed job evaluation decisions.

Service Delivery

- Deputise for the Talent Acquisition Senior Manager during absences or peak times, showcasing your leadership skills and keeping the team on track.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest recruitment legislation and diversity and inclusion developments, sharing your insights with the team to keep everyone informed and compliant.
- Enhance our employer branding on platforms like Indeed, Glassdoor, and our careers pages to attract top talent and showcase our organisation's strengths.
- Implement and maintain structured onboarding processes to ensure new hires feel integrated and valued from day one.

Management Information

- Provide valuable insights into resourcing activity, anticipating future risks and proposing mitigations based on data.

Diversity & Inclusion

- Implement the D&I strategy, ensuring diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our recruitment processes. Create guides, and training materials, and promote updates to the wider Commission to foster an inclusive culture.

What we’re looking for:

Essential criteria:

1. Demonstrable experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, with the ability to advise on best practice within attraction, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
2. A great communicator, someone who can influence and build rapport with stakeholders of all levels.
3. A pro-active and dynamic team player who strives to identify and implement areas of continuous improvement, whilst supporting the team to achieve its objectives.
4. Someone with a passion for the Talent Acquisition industry who likes to keep on top of the latest tools, technology and trends.

Desirable criteria:

1. Experience in recruiting a variety of contract types including but not limited to Fixed Term Contracts, Secondments, Agency and Contractors.
2. Experience working in a fast-paced in-house recruitment team.
