Market and Regulatory Insight Manager

We do this by keeping crime out, protecting children and vulnerable people and ensuring the commercial gambling industry is run fairly and openly. We are currently looking for a Market and Regulatory Insight Manager to join our team in Birmingham.
- Salary of c£40,000 per annum
- Civil service pension, with an employer contribution rate of 27.1%

As a Market and Regulatory Insight Manager, you will facilitate and support the work of a team providing acute market and regulatory insight.
Specifically, you will lead and develop your team and contribute ideas to help identify market developments, risks and opportunities that will improve regulation. You will develop high-quality insight and analysis of the gambling market and associated regulations.
Additionally, you will:
- Lead the delivery of market and regulation insight projects
- Develop new sources of insight and information
- Support the team and Commission colleagues to identify risks and opportunities
- Contribute to policy development and regulatory impact assessments
To be considered as Marketing and Regulatory Insight Manager, you will need:
- Experience of sourcing and interpreting complex data, to make clear recommendations
- Leadership skills with the ability to develop talent and knowledge in others
- Knowledge of regulatory models and their applications
- Excellent management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
It would also be beneficial if you have experience of economic analysis and forecasting.
