We are currently looking for a Regulatory Manager to join our team in Birmingham for a fixed-term contract until 31st January 2024. We will consider full-time, part-time or job-share applications.

Your Role
As the Regulatory Manager, you will play a vital role in the regulation of The National Lottery, helping to protect players and the National Lottery brand, maximise returns to good causes and shape the future of the National Lottery.
Forming part of the National Lottery Third Licence team, you will lead on and provide support across a range of initiatives and projects.
Your role will also involve:
- Building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Liaising with the National Lottery operator to understand regulatory risks
- Acquiring a sound understanding of complex regulatory documentation
- Managing projects and assessing proposals received from the National Lottery operator
- Producing annual reviews and completing detailed work on risks
- Drafting Committee papers along with recommendations and presenting to the National Lottery Committee
- Contributing to performance monitoring and reporting for the programme
About You
To be considered as a Regulatory Manager, you will need:
- The ability to analyse and understand complex licensing proposals, highlighting risks and trends and provide recommendations on how to proceed
- Excellent oral and written skills, presenting confidently and concisely to a variety of audiences
- The ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines, along with multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment, whilst still maintaining strong attention to detail
- A flexible and adaptable approach, managing a wide variety of tasks and dealing with unexpected changes at short notice
- To be a flexible and pro-active self-starter who uses their initiative to deliver excellent results with minimal support, whilst keeping key stakeholders informed
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data and information
