We are currently looking for a Research and Statistics Manager to join our team in Birmingham and play a vital role in supporting the gambling community. Internally, this role is known as the Research and Impact Manager.

The Role
As the Research and Statistics Manager, you will be tasked with providing and analysing information and evidence that will help us to understand gambling motivations and risks and how they can be reduced.
In this key role, you will gather, analyse and disseminate evidence from a wide range of sources, helping us understand how and why people gamble, what harms they are exposed to and how we can reduce the risk.
You will manage the information gathering process and conduct in-depth statistical analysis and seek out new sources of insight and data. Working with corporate affairs, you will also manage the communication and dissemination of the team’s output in order to maximise its impact.
Additionally, you will:
- Conduct secondary analysis on existing datasets
- Design, commission and project manage research and other team projects
- Conduct evidence assurance to support and inform our work
- Help to plan and deliver other Research and Statistics Team outputs
About You
To be considered as our Research and Statistics Manager, you will need:
- Experience of working in a research, analysis or data-focused role
- Experience of undertaking statistical analysis, such as regression, latent class analysis, and factor analysis
- Strong analytical skills and experience of working with data packages including SPSS, PowerBI and Python
- Excellent project management skills, leading others to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to a high quality
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex data and research findings to a range of audiences
